Alafia Haven is a licensed General Residential Operation (GRO) that provides specialized services to children and youth with emotional disorders, intellectual disabilities, autism spectrum disorder, and primary medical needs.
As the first GRO established in Odessa, Texas, Alafia Haven is committed to offering 24-hour residential care in a structured and therapeutic environment. We believe every child deserves a safe, supportive setting where they can heal, develop essential life skills, and reach their full potential.

Emotional Disorders
Intellectual Disabilities
We support children with diagnosed emotional disorders, such as mood, psychotic, or dissociative disorders. Our program is designed for youth who may have a history of self-harm or exhibit behaviors that pose a risk to others. With structured therapeutic support and trained staff, we help them stabilize and heal in a safe, supportive environment
We provide care for children with a DSM-5 diagnosis of Intellectual Disability who experience significant challenges in daily living, communication, or social interaction. Our program focuses on building adaptive skills, promoting independence, and supporting meaningful participation in everyday activities within a structured, compassionate setting
Autism Spectrum Disorder
We care for children with a DSM-5 diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder who face significant challenges in communication, daily living, and social interaction. Our program is tailored to support their unique developmental needs, build adaptive skills, and promote growth in a structured, nurturing environment.
Primary Medical Needs
We serve children with complex medical needs who require ongoing support to live safely. This includes care for those needing feeding tubes, airway assistance, sterile procedures, or support for multiple physical and sensory disabilities. Our trained staff provides 24/7 medical supervision in a nurturing, home-like setting.
